When the Teacher is Ready the Student Appears

This is my interview with Teacher, Author & Virtues Project Facilitator: Dara Feldman.

Ach, not more ‘Character Education’ stuff!

I hear you, I’m pretty sick of it too. British Values bla bla. Listen: this is different, this is real!

This lady is called into schools following the devastation of student killings where she helps restore human connection and trust. I can think of nothing more powerful.

This lady aspires to live and learn from the Virtues Project each day. Her sharing it with the world is simply an expression of her enthusiasm for the joy this brings to her life and those around her.

And, what’s most inspiring about this lady? As I read her book there were moments of breathlessness as she revealed openly and with so much heart stories her own life’s pain, personal loss and growth through circumstances that, thankfully, many of us will never experience directly.

But, when she speaks, you’ll see how she’s chosen to become strengthened by her experiences. Now her strength and joy empowers others.

What did you think? Did any part of this resonate with you? I’d love to hear so, if you’d like to share, pop over to the YouTube page and begin a conversation…

P.S. Those fantastic questions came from the Joyful Education Activists on my mailing-list who were invited to get involved in advance of this interview by asking questions. Want to hear about my next interview in advance? Follow this Project.
