AKA Did a “This World is Stupid!” Rant and the Huffington post featured it!
Sometimes the funniest things happen when we open our eyes.
It was Easter Sunday so the whole extended family (inc. my little nice and nephew) went along to a huge community Easter Egg Hunt. Awesome! You might say.
Yes…well… it got me thinking about some things…
And these chaotic thoughts became one short article published the next day in the Huffington Post. This was the first comment it received:
“An interesting analogy. Or should I say, analogies within an analogy. Just goes to show what a bit of thought can do to transform a situation which benefits everyone.”
EXTRACT: This is the way our great community Easter Egg Hunt fizzled out today. Each person walked away with a twinge of bitterness. The sad truth is; this experience flies too close to what we are doing to each other, across the world, through our single minded hunt for “eggs” …qualifications, jobs, assets, employees, status, ideas, votes, knowledge etc. The rest of this analogy I’ll leave to the reader’s imagination continue reading in the Huffington Post…
If you do read the article you’ll see how I end on a positive note by showcasing a few people I believe are doing some real work. One of them is a US teacher called AJ who’s well known for his ‘Student Choice’ programmes…
